Tool input stays on your device

All ten current tools process data in your browser. DevToolbox does not transmit your text, JSON, tokens, patterns, or results to an application server, analytics service, or database. Regex processing uses a local browser worker. Inputs are held in memory while a tool is open and are not intentionally persisted between page visits.

Local preferences, clipboard, and downloads

The site stores your light or dark theme preference in local storage under devtoolbox-theme. You can remove it through your browser settings. Copy actions write only the selected result to your device clipboard. Downloads create a file on your device; you control its retention and sharing.

Hosting and ordinary web requests

Loading the website sends ordinary requests for pages and assets to the hosting provider. The provider may process IP addresses, request details, security logs, and, for a private deployment, account information according to its own policy. These requests do not include tool input. Browser extensions and device software operate outside the control of this application.

No embedded analytics or advertising

This release includes no analytics scripts, advertising network, or tracking cookies in the application. If those integrations are introduced, this page should be updated before they are enabled.

Contact messages

If you submit the contact form, we store your name, email address, selected topic, message, and submission time in a private database so the site owner can read and respond to your request. Only the owner’s password-protected inbox can display these messages. We also use a short-lived, pseudonymous request limit to reduce spam. Do not include passwords or live credentials in your message. You can ask for your contact message to be deleted through the same form.

Questions and requests

For questions about this policy, check the contact page for current contact details. We cannot retrieve tool input because the application does not collect it.
