UUID Generator
Create cryptographically random version 4 UUIDs, individually or in batches of up to 1,000.
A fresh identifier, whenever you need one.
Choose a batch size and generate secure UUID v4 identifiers.
What does this tool do?
A UUID v4 is a randomly generated identifier in the standard hyphenated format. Generate one for a record or a batch for test data; these values are not authentication secrets.
When to use this tool
Generate random UUID v4 identifiers for test fixtures, application records, or request correlation. Each identifier uses the standard hyphenated UUID format. Generate one value or a batch, then copy or download the results. This generator does not produce time-ordered UUID v7 identifiers.
How to use UUID Generator

Common questions
Are these UUID version 4?
Yes. The version and variant bits follow the UUID v4 format, using crypto.randomUUID or a crypto.getRandomValues fallback.
Can I generate the same UUID again?
There is no seed option. Each click uses fresh cryptographic randomness and removes duplicates within the batch.
Working with a large input? Text converters accept up to 1,000,000 characters. Regex test text is limited to 50,000 characters and JWTs to 100,000.
